1. Premium Raw Materials
Jinghe production begins with high-quality alloy steel billets (AISI 4130 / 4145H), carefully selected and inspected to guarantee chemical uniformity and mechanical strength. These materials form the solid foundation of every drill pipe we produce.
2. Seamless Tube Rolling
Using advanced hot rolling and piercing technology, we transform steel billets into seamless tubes with precise dimensions and excellent roundness. This process ensures superior integrity and eliminates the risk of weak weld seams.
3. Advanced Heat Treatment
Each tube undergoes a controlled quenching and tempering process to achieve optimum hardness, toughness, and fatigue resistance — critical for deep drilling operations under extreme conditions.
4. Upsetting and Forging
Both ends of the pipe are hydraulically upset to increase wall thickness, providing additional strength where it’s needed most. This step enhances the durability of the connection and extends service life.
5. Tool Joint Welding and Machining
Precision-forged tool joints are friction-welded to the upset ends, ensuring a perfect metallurgical bond. After welding, they are heat-treated and CNC-machined with API-standard threads to guarantee accuracy and easy make-up on the rig.
6. Rigorous Quality Inspection
Every drill pipe passes through a comprehensive non-destructive testing (NDT) process — including ultrasonic, magnetic, and hydrostatic tests — to ensure flawless performance in the field.
7. Protective Coating and Packaging
The pipe surface is phosphate-treated or painted for corrosion resistance, then color-coded and stenciled according to API Spec 5DP. Each pipe is carefully capped and packaged for safe global transport.
